The JTA Credit Union serves teachers and other workers in the educational sector who are members of the Jamaica Teachers' Association (JTA).

As at December 2011 our asset base stood at J$ 8.5B while loans and savings portfolios stood at J$ 6B and J$ 6.7B respectively, making us the largest of Jamaica's 40 credit unions in terms of assets, loans and savings.

The Credit Union currently operates out of 12 locations with a staff complement of 109. The organization is headed by Dr. Dorothy Raymond, Chairman of the Board and is managed by Mrs. Barbara Gascoigne, General Manager.

The JTA Credit Union has been awarded the Mega Credit Union of the year award for 2011 and has also earned this award for 2007 and 2010.
